As the Training & Placement Officer of the college, I want to bring into your kind knowledge, that being in the rural area, does not mean we lack talent, but we need the eagle's eye, to find the talented youth. Youth here, shows a potential beyond our expectations. It’s only us, to treasure them and give them the positions, which they truly deserve.
So I invite the industry people to help us to find the hidden talent from our institute.
The following major functions are performed by the Department of Placement & Training:
Job opportunities to students through On-Campus, Off-Campus, Centralized Campus, State level Placement Programme and Job-fairs etc.
Organize pre-placement training to all the students in their pre-final sem. For this, top professional agencies are engaged to train the students throughout the years, in having their technical, analytical and soft skills.
To provide at least one job to every student
Placement Office also co-ordinates and helps the students to get project work , arranging in-plant training, industrial visits, projects, guest lecturers and other industry institute activity.
With the assistance of faculty members and student co-coordinators organize the logistic support to the companies who visit the College for placements by assisting them in conducting of Presentation, Testing, Group Discussions and Interviews.
Career Awareness Sessions.
Guidance session for higher studies.
A number of well established & important companies like: Wipro, Quark, Trident, AMP Chandigarh, Pioneer Cranes & elevators, BHEL etc. are visiting the institute for the campus interviews. The cell is fully dedicated to provide jobs to the students. The cell are also arranges the practical training to the student to completethe diploma requirements.
