66.6% seats are filled by the P.S.B.T.E. & I.T., Chandigarh through Joint Entrance Test (J.E.T.) and remaining 33.3% seats are filled by the Institute on merit basis under management quota seats.
Direct Admission in 2nd year: 10+2 Vocational or I.T.I. pass or 10+2 Science
The management seats which constitutes 33% of total seats are filled up by the institute directly. The students who want to take admission in the category need not appear in the JET test. These seats will, however be filled on the basis of the merit of the candidates. These candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility requirement in the matriculation for engineering courses and 10+2 science examination for pharmacy courses.
